When Kasey and Rand chose Kennedy Photos as their Knoxville Wedding Photographers, we were so excited to meet them and plan their engagement session. They chose Melton Hill Park as the location for their session. It’s one of our favorite Knoxville spots to take professional photos. It truly has a little bit of everything.
When a couple chooses us as their professional wedding photographers, we always like to go the extra mile to get to know the couple and what is important to them… our favorite thing about Kasey and Rand during their engagement session was their ability to just be in the moment.
Kasey and Rand’s Proposal Story
Rand pulled off a complete surprise engagement! We were planning on going out with some friends to celebrate my birthday. However, we took a detour in downtown Knoxville and stopped by a gorgeous residential building. He led me to the doorstep and told me we would be staying there tonight. When I asked why, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. One of my best friends came out from hiding to take photos of our moment! Through happy tears, I could see the faces of all of my best friends and family inside. Our favorite love song, “Honeybee” by The Head and the Heart was playing as we celebrated with our loved ones. Rand made a speech and then showed a slideshow of photos of us from the past eight years. We drank wine by the water fountain and danced the night away! It was the best night of my life!
